Gion Gojozaka Pottery Festival

Sally Smith dining
Gojozaka Pottery Festival is an annual event held on the streets of Gion, Kyoto.
With over 400 venders, 37 degree heat & massive crowds , I had my work cut out for me, but so worth it as I found some stunning pieces handmade by very talented potters from all over Japan.
These tri-coloured bowls are made by a really sweet guy from Nagoya. What a way to start your day !
They are available in advance of my new online store launch, for $35 (includes shipping)
